Originally from Toronto, Christine has partnered with her husband, Pastor Thom Burke, in ministry across Canada for many years. She carries a deep passion for serving the church and felt a strong call to ministry as a young adult. Christine especially loves coming alongside women and moms, helping them discover their place, purpose, and spiritual giftings. She has a natural gift for facilitating, encouraging, and bringing people together.
Christine is a proud grandmother to Isaiah and treasures every moment she gets to spend with him. Creative at heart, she loves decorating, art, thrifting (garage sales are her favourite), and has a great eye for events and creating meaningful spaces. She’s also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys kayaking and exploring new places, and she’s a big foodie with a love for international cuisine.
When people walk through the doors at Liberty, Christine hopes they feel welcomed, seen, and part of a caring community. She is truly one of the hearts of the home at Liberty Church.
